General information, not advice
Our news summaries are for general information. They are not legal, medical, financial, investment or other professional advice, and should not be relied on as such. Please consult a qualified professional about your situation.
News changes
Stories marked Developing may change as more facts are confirmed. Figures and details reflect what was reported when we published, plus any dated updates on the story page. Despite our checking against multiple outlets, errors can happen, and we do not guarantee that any story is complete or error-free.
AI disclosure
The host and voice in our videos are AI-generated and are not a real person. We may also use AI tools to help research, draft or organise text. Every story is checked against multiple news outlets before it is published. Read more in How We Report.
No endorsement; trademarks
We summarise what is reported about people, companies, governments and outlets. Naming them does not mean they sponsor, endorse or are affiliated with us, and we do not endorse them. All trademarks, names and logos belong to their respective owners.
Corrections
To request a correction, email tehworldnews@gmail.com with the link to the story, what you believe is wrong and, if you can, a reliable source for the correct information. We review every request, correct confirmed errors and add a dated note on the story page when a change is significant.
Copyright notices (DMCA)
We respect the rights of creators. Our stories are written by us, and our photos come from Wikimedia Commons under their stated licenses. If you believe content on this site, including a photo, infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated copyright agent:
Copyright Agent, tehworldnews
Email: tehworldnews@gmail.com
Your notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature (a typed full name is fine) as the copyright owner or a person authorised to act for the owner;
- a description of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed;
- the exact link (URL) of the material you say infringes, so we can find it;
- your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
When we get a valid notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the material, tell the person who supplied it where we can, and may pass a copy of the notice to them. Knowingly sending a false notice can make you liable for damages (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).
Counter-notice. If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, send the copyright agent: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and telephone number, plus a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, outside the US, any judicial district) and will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice. We will send a copy of your counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice and tell them we may restore the material in 10 business days. We will restore it within 10 to 14 business days after that, unless they tell us they have filed a court action against you.
Repeat infringers. It is our policy to end access, in appropriate circumstances, for anyone who is a repeat copyright infringer. That includes no longer using any photographer, source or contributor who repeatedly supplies infringing material. If a Wikimedia Commons file we use is deleted or its license changes, we will remove or replace it.
